Printable Riddle Cards
Each pack turns one of our riddle lists into cut-out cards: eight riddles to a page, numbered, with the answers on their own sheet at the back so the reader can hold the key and nobody at the table can peek. The riddles are the same ones on the list pages, so every one has been through the blind test.
Use them as a party game, a classroom early-finisher box, lunchbox notes or a stack by the dinner table. Pick the pack that suits the room: easy and kids' riddles for mixed ages, tricky and hard riddles for a group that likes to argue about the answer.
Printing and cutting
Print at 100% on plain paper or light card. The cards sit inside the safe area of both US Letter and A4, so nothing is trimmed off either way. Cut along the dashed lines; a paper trimmer makes quick work of a whole pack.
Keep the answer sheet separate. For a game, deal the cards face down and have players take turns reading one aloud; the reader checks the number against the answer sheet when the table gives up or gets it.
Each card shows its difficulty, so a mixed group can sort the stack before playing: easy cards for younger players, hard ones for the adults who like to argue. Riddles quoted from old books carry their book and year on the card, which often starts a conversation of its own.
