Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of riddleslab.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What you can do, free

  • Read, play, vote and quiz as often as you like.
  • Read our riddles and questions aloud anywhere: at home, at parties, in classrooms, in meetings, on stage at a quiz night.
  • Print, photocopy and hand out our card packs for personal, family, classroom, youth group, workplace, library and senior-care use, including at events where nobody pays for the cards themselves.
  • Show a page on a classroom or meeting-room screen.

What needs our permission

  • Selling our riddles, questions, trivia or card designs, or putting them in a product you sell (a book, an app, a game, a printable bundle).
  • Republishing our lists or a large part of them on another website, channel or social account.
  • Copying the content in bulk, scraping the site automatically or interfering with the vote counts.

For anything else, such as a few riddles in a newsletter or a church bulletin, email us and we'll usually say yes.

Ownership

The original riddles, questions, trivia, notes, card designs and images are © Riddles Lab and licensed for the free uses listed above. That is the licence referred to in the image information search engines show. Riddles marked as quoted from old books are in the public domain and are credited to their source; traditional riddles marked "classic" are well-known ideas told in our own words.

Votes

Vote results show what visitors to this site picked. They are not a survey of anyone else and should not be quoted as one.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We check every riddle and trivia answer, but we don't guarantee that everything is free of errors or that the site will always be available. Teachers and hosts should read a set through before using it with a group.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Riddles Lab is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. Questions: hello@riddleslab.com.
